YUI - Holidays In The Sun

Finally, YUI's 4th album is here.

YUI’s 4th album proved to be quite the pleasant listen. I was suprised that YUI took a more mellow direction with this album compared to the overly dramatic I LOVED YESTERDAY. New songs like Parade, Shake My Heart, and Kiss me together with the opening track to Mother show a softer side of the singer and I was glad she didn’t drown this album full of monotonous songs. There’s still a good amount of upbeat rock songs including A-sides like again and It’s all too much plus her self-cover of a song she wrote for Stereopony (I do it). Overall, I was pleased with the final product and the fact that it’s her most laid back album does not detract anything but shows that YUI can have a little fun with her songwriting.

Wait for the next iPad.

I know lot of people getting excited of iPad launch recently BUT iPad is no better than the Blackberry Playbook and the Samsung Galaxy Tab. iPad is just bigger than those others tablet devices, others than that the iPad is slow and heavy. Those who are still not an iOS user, you probably can't wait to get your hands on the iPad but if you willing wait, next generation of iPad will be much better and it is near.

There are rumors pointed some time at February for the next iPad to potentially to start shipping as Foxconn been notified the initial shipments to reach 400,000-600,000 units. The next iPad will have a better display of OLED technology or maybe retina display, camera for facetime and hopefully a better processor. The iPad is fast? Definitely not! When Steve launch the iPad, he is so proud of announcing the first ever designed 1GHZ processor by Apple but he did not mention that iPad is actually having only 256MB of RAM whilst iPhone 4 is having a 512MB of RAM.

This video shows the difference of speed between the iPad and Playbook.

As you can judge from the video, the playbook totally wipe out the iPad. My say....wait for the next iPad.  As for the Galaxy Tab is half of the size of the iPad and it much more portable. If you are considering of the Playbook, it is most likely to be launch by the second quarter of 2011. The keyword is here is.....WAIT!
